Job Duties

This position will assist the Director of National Accounts with day to day tasks such as building tenders, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, account billing and tracking and tracing. This position will be vital to the success of the Director and will require close attention to detail, good communication skills, professional email and phone communication, proficiency with computers and multiple TMS systems, as well as a positive and energetic demeanor.

- Accept, build and schedule load tenders sent through multiple transportation management systems for customers.

- Accurately enter information into loads for carrier reps to effectively book.

- Provide constant TMS updates to customers.

- Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Maintain positive and productive relationship with customers and internal team members

- Work directly with the accounting team on billing issues

- Constant communication with team members on freight details

- Problem-solve issues as they arise and work independently

Ideal Candidate

- High School Diploma: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or supply chain preferred.

- 1+ years experience in logistics

- 1+ years in customer service

- Ability to work effectively individually and with a team.

- Well-organized with ability to set and execute priorities.

- Excellent typing skills and knowledge of PC applications with ability to work with multiple screens and interfaces.

In-person interviews will be scheduled for late July, early August.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
